Navigating the Noise: Uncovering the Best Content on Medium
I have been using Medium for almost a week now. I enjoyed reading a diverse range of articles and have also connected with many interesting and inspiring folks.
However, while Medium provides a platform for anyone to write something, which is good because it allows for a diverse range of voices to be heard, it also means that low-quality work can be published. As a new user of the platform, I am still trying to filter and discern how to find only good quality articles from credible authors.
For example, I have read many articles on the platform where people criticize or mock ChatGPT and question its usefulness. While it is true that ChatGPT is not fully capable of being a 100% competent tool yet, largely because it is still in its testing stage, many of these criticisms stem from the incompetence of the users themselves. These individuals do not understand how to properly use the tool.
ChatGPT does actually have a foundation that it was constructed upon, which many individuals may not be aware of. With an open-ended chat box format, where users can type anything into the box to send prompts to the system, people think that as long as they know English, they can use it effectively.
