Over the last few years, we’ve seen a dramatic rise in the use and sophistication of artificial intelligence (AI). Perhaps one of the most prominent examples is OpenAI’s GPT-3, which is now followed by the even more powerful GPT-4. GPT-4, also known as ChatGPT, has set a new standard for AI natural language understanding. This has led to a thriving industry of prompt sellers, who are creating and selling clever prompts to interact with ChatGPT.

However, is there really a need to pay for prompts when ChatGPT can understand natural language?

Prompts are an essential part of interacting with any language model. They act as the initial input that guides the AI’s response. A well-crafted prompt can be the difference between a clear, insightful response and a vague, unhelpful one. It’s not surprising then that prompt crafting has become an art form and a business in itself.
